About the event
Over 4 weeks, we will explore 3 different recipes for papier mache sculpture, as well as paper clay. Steph will lead participants through building light armature and scaling an image using a grid. This is an ALL levels class with plenty of individual attention--so whether you're a beginner who hasn't paper mache'd since grade school or an artist looking to add skills to your toolkit, this is for you! Participants will have the option of a <36" sculpture, wearable item, or vessel. HIGHLY open to "this wacky project I've had stuck in my craw" vibes.
Each session will involve demonstration and give participants a chance to make samples and try each skill, while utilizing the final portion of class time to work on their chosen project.
